Been to Bintan, Thought of Phuket...

Original Xanga entry ↗

Went to Bintan for a site recee today with Kevin.

Think I was too pampered by the trip to Phuket earlier this year. The Twin Palms resort was really so beautiful that even though Kevin was raving about how nice the room at Bintan Lagoon was, I simply felt that it was nothing compared to Twin Palms. Sure, Bintan Lagoon was nice, but in terms of style, class and experience, its nothing compared to Twin Palms. Plus the wonderful company I had while in Phuket can never be replicated in Bintan since the 2 important people won't be there. And I'll be there to work, and entertain guests and (the list simply goes on...)

Haven't really had time to catch up on my own thoughts and feelings over the past few days, been focusing so much on bloody work that any free time I have has been spent on sleep or worrying about work. Didn't even get a chance to meet my uncle Aminta when he was in town yesterday and today. At least managed to get his TV screen situation sorted out...

Mixture of weird feelings clashing within me right now. Sense of relief, anxiousness and anticipation. Just want the next month and a half to be over and done with so I can finally get on with doing other things that are way more important. Some things have been cleared up, others have been left hanging. Although I'm entirely clear on the concept that life is never black and white, there are so many things which I wish was not just grey area.

Its so frustrating to have to depend on others for things which you wish could just be resolved. Worst is when you're just waiting and wondering, Whats Next?

Next few weeks are going to be extremely tiring and tedious. Projects coming up are already building pressure. Everything needs to be attended to. In the midst of this, still waiting for answers to questions which I have asked various parties.

The only good thing that has come out of this is that at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Its a bit of a touch and go situation, but either way, there will be a resolution at the end of the day. Who will come out happy and who will not depends on how we go about handling it, from now until it happens.

For now, just memories of Phuket... Happier times... Simpler times...
