With my mum away for a while, and another child in the house, I just thought I would express something... Although I will always remain a kid in my mum's eyes, I am grateful she allows me to be an adult now. Somedays, we live in oblivion, somedays, we see the light.

It took my mom a really long time to realize that I had grown up. I think when I bought a house she realized I had grown up. Now she talks to me like a regular person instead of a kid. She still calls me her baby though. I guess some things never change.

how funny.... i was reading the front page of our local newspaper and they had a special on young parents.... ugh, i really feel for them, but you know, if you have sex, take responsibility... and if the end result is a child.... then have the heart to raise that child to the best of your ability....
i hear and see too many children neglected by their young parents... and it's so sad....
