Original Xanga entry ↗*SIGH* *SIGH* *SIGH* *SIGH* *CRY* *SIGH* Sooooooooooo Sharen got home to my place at 10 pm last night, claiming things are going fine and that her mum ranted at her for 6 hours, then went to take a shower, so she came back to my place. And to me, I thought everything was fine.
This morning, Shar wakes up early, and goes job hunting at around lunch time. I get up, go about my usual stuff and while I am on the bus, on my way to work, her mum calls and asks for my house number. So I give it to her. Her mum turns up on my doorstep, demanding to see her daughter who issn't there... A hell lot of mess later, I find out her mum barged into my house, packed Shar's stuff and zoomed home. My phone keeps ringing, with my mum, her mum and everyone else calling me. And since everyone has private numbers, my mobile doesn't show who is calling and I get frustrated because of that.
Then, Shar finally gets home and finds out her stuff is missing, she calls her mum and then ends up crying. calls me and says she is going home to have it out with her mother. So right now I have no idea what is happening.
*sigh* I be confused and frustrated and unhappy. What's gonna be next?

i would be so upset if that happened to me.... i mean, so upset, i would like, seriously talk to my friend and ask her why i should not press charges against the mother? she had no right to barge in without permission, you know? ugh....
i wish you and your friend the best of luck in sorting this out! -:crosses herfingers:-

hehe.. actually she had a sort of right.. singapore has scary laws like that.. you like belong to your parents untill you are 21.. sounds like shar though.. while she is a literal genius.. her flare for dramatics is staggering.. she has always been the tpe of person who swore.. she will either succeed.. or be a martyr.. she needs guidance.. and from i know of her parents.. it simply isn't coming from there.. so she is naturally going to shun them
I think your doing a great thing.. just being there.. if she can rely on you.. she will have that much more strength.. and while she has the strengh to run from bad situations.. what she needs is the strength to stay through the hard ones

Hey girlie! Sorry to hear about all the drama with your friend and her parental unit, but what can ya do. It's hard not getting in the middle of stuff like that, but it might be best. They seem to have issues that need working out! Anyway I am wishing the best for you!!
