THE ONE WITH THE WEDDING DINNER PREPARATIONS

So I've been invited to a wedding dinner this coming saturday. I have known Daniel(or as we knew him back then - Yogurt) since I was like 12 and I'm now 24. Someone whom I have known for half my life, but spent so little time with. Yet, the time that we did spend together was true quality time. He was someone who taught me that true love means walking in the rain together and not feeling the rain, but feeling the happiness of being in love.

He is getting married. In his own words "I studied, got my degree, opened a business, successfully maintained it, so the next step is getting married and having a family."

For someone who is a self proclaimed AETHEIST, someone who can hold so many girls in his fist, someone who can be at the top of so many gaming circles (He is ranked Number 1 in Quake for Singapore) to become such a conformist is a shocker to me. He thinks that by doing what everyone around him expects him to do, he will bring happiness to them all. But at what cost? Will this truly make him happy?

A huge lavish Christian church wedding, with a traditional chinese banquet to follow up. The fact that I'm the only one of his ex girlfriends he has invited honours me. To him, I was always 1st and foremost his friend. Yet it shames me to think that someone whom I had once loved so well could love himself so little.

I cannot dissappoint, so I've bought a new dress over the weekend and am hunting for shoes right now. Ray accompanied me to 3 different places. We found the perfect shoes yesterday, but they did not have my size. So I shall have to continue hunting... This has to be perfect! I've bought the wedding gift and the wedding card as well. I shall attend this in my best and make sure that I do myself proud! Although I must admit that I can't imagine I'm attending an ex-boyfriend's wedding :P

Yeah Texas Hold-em is awesome! If you ever come down to Hawaii then you can come play with me and my friends! We can play Tripoli too which is pretty fun also.
