THE ONE AFTER THE BOWLING EVENT

My 1st event was a near disaster... Apparently I did not confirm the T-shirt orders with the printers and so at 12 noon on Friday, we had NO T-shirts. I had to go down to the printers and help to cut emblems, fold T-shirts and pack them to get them to get them ready for the event. Thankfully we managed to do so in time.

That aside, the event went relatively well and we managed to wrap up by 10 pm. Anyhow, it was a good lesson to learn and now I know what NOT to do in the future...

The weekend actually went on quite well, except for a few hiccups last nite. Had a relatively blown out of proportion argument with Ray that resulted in cold treatment from us both. I am just quite tired of his sulky moods and black faces whenever he is unhappy abt something. He himself admits that there is something wrong and he is trying to fix it. He knows that I am giving so much and he feels pressured to do the same. I don't know why I can't seem to accept his silences. It just ultimately makes me feel that he is trying to run away from things...

No gym today... Start of new diet today with all fruits and veges, no processed food for the next 5 days. Wondering if I can manage to stick to it. We shall see...

Maybe me and Kor are siblings of some sort... haha...

For me, it's more like this:
It's hard to open myself up to anyone because of the fear of rejection. The more important the person is, the lesser I'll want to say. I have this problem about self esteem, and Jib's helping me, but it's not easy. Whenever there is something wrong, I tend to assume it's my fault, and try to fix it myself while keeping quiet about it all (which incidently, drives Jib nuts)... It might seem like running away from problems, but ultimately he just wants to do something, perhaps a way that does not encourage understanding or even wrong to some people.

It's not easy to open up completely, if you've been used to keep things inside. I know, coz I'm trying to open up, but it takes a lot of time and courage.

Dunno if this helps you, don't be angry with Kor lah. *hugz hugz*
