Top 10 Internet Chat Pet Peeves

It suddenly occurred to me that there are some things that people do on the net that will seriously irritate me. It is even more so when these are people I chat with on a regular basis. The list of top 10 internet chat pet peeves are as follows:

10. People logging off immediately after I send them a "Hello" - Just tell me if you don't feel like talking. Don't have to be rude and ignore me! Even if you're in a hurry, just tell me you've got to leave so I won't feel like I chased you off MSN.

9. P30p73 wH0 7Yp3 Us1||G ||375P34K - Issn't it much easier to type NORMALLY? I think it takes a vast amount of natural talent to be able to type in a combination of alphabets, numbers and symbols!

8. People who are in online mode but aren't actually even at their computer - If you aren't there, at least have the courtesy to put yourself in away mode so that I won't sit there like an idiot wondering if you are ignoring me on purpose!

7. People who send random links with no explanations and expect you to click on them - HTF am I supposed to know what that is? What if it turns out to be a virus of some sort? So NO, I will not click on your random links!

6. People who send you webcam requests without warning - What makes you think I am going to accept the request especially if I'm lying in bed wearing close to nothing? Please ask before sending any webcam requests! Common courtesy!

5. People who add you randomly and start the conversation with "A/S/L? i m bored, can frenz???" - OMG,
I don't even know you and you expect me to disclose personal
information to you? NO Thank You! I do NOT want to get to know you or
to be "FrenZ"

4. PeOpLe wHo TyPe LiKe tHiS - We have CAPITAL letters for a reason. Use it correctly or DO NOT use it at ALL!

3. People who have a million emoticons on their MSN - Sometimes I talk to some people and all I see is smiley faces or different variations of a monkey/ghost/stick figures doing random silly actions. So much so that the entire conversation is basically pictures and I have no fucking clue wtf they are trying to say. I like a few emoticons to illustrate a point, but I cannot take a conversation filled with them.

2. Ppl wh typ wif alt of abbv tt smtms dun mk cenz - I
can understand some of these abbreviations like pple, lol, brb, but if
every single word is shorthand, it makes it incredibly HARD to READ!

And My NUMBER ONE TOP INTERNET CHAT PET PEEVE -

1. People who can see that my MSN tagline says "Liv - Sleeping" and still sends a msg with "Are you sleeping?" - Are you STUPID or WHAT? Can you not read? I can understand if you are just leaving me a msg while I am away, but DO NOT ask the OBVIOUS can?
