Project Living Room

Original Xanga entry ↗

Project Living Room Part One is completed!

Within 48 hours, we managed to finish Project Living Room and I also used this opportunity to get rid of undesirables in my room and stock them all into the store room. The apartment is almost complete now. Just have to wait for Irene's donation of her sofa, coffee table, TV and TV console. Once that comes in next week, it would be 100% completed. But for now, take a look at the fruits of my labour.

The Living Room before we attacked it.

Living Room after we were done - This space is reserved for the sofa and TV.

The new cozy reading/smoking corner

Shoe rack moved to a new position, book shelf setup next to it.

Of course, I have to show off my new wardrobe as well. There is still alot of space left in my wardrobe, which means I can go shopping and stock it up with more clothes! YAY!

My new wardrobe, courtesy of Ben. Note the cute little pink bow on the top left corner.

Wardrobe after its installed in its correct position, mirror added, and most importantly, clothes in it!

Top row, naturally pink hangers for everything and clothes arranged in colour sequence

Bottom row - colour coding more obvious...

I'm sooooo tired after the past 48 hours, but I am extemely satisfied. Finally got everything sorted out which means I don't have it hanging above my head anymore. I am finally HOME! It is going to take alot to convince me to abandon this place now. It has finally become everything I wanted in a home. A home of my own :)

Yayness!

Hurray~ i finally learned how to leave a message!

But that aside... the closet looks awfully too small for all the clothes i think you have.. no? =P

Haha, I don't have opium, but I do have the new Malboro Ice Mints!

Its so cooling, its almost like breathing in ice!

Lol Anj... Congrats on figuring out the comment function and thanks for leaving a message.

Yes,
the closet is kinda small but that's because it is only for tops! I
have a different wardrobe for my dresses, jackets and bottoms!

Honestly
though, I would like to get a walk-in wardrobe one day. I can just
imagine walking into a room full of just my clothes, bags and shoes.
Makes me so happy just thinking abt it! Hehe!
