Pride Shots!

Original Xanga entry ↗
Pictures of Irene's Makeover Part 2!

Irene dressed in totally "Femme" mode

Irene and me before heading to the party

Had a great time at Jean's party last night. Jin's place is totally cool and the X'mas tree was so "new age". I can
understand why Jean was insistant on getting something like that. It
set the mood for the party, especially with all the down lights and
candles in the entire apartment. There was even a balcony for the
smokers to chillout! And the best part was, they had a PRIDE flag
hanging out of the balcony! This is like facing the main road! Talk
about being Proud to be Out!

I was the bartender cum doorbitch who was in charge of making sure everyone took their entrance shots. It was SOOOOO much fun making everyone roll the dice and drink the number of shots that they picked out. Elita was the only one who got all 6 shots, although quite a number of people got 5. I must say I was fairly lucky and only rolled 1 myself ;)

Shots in the Pride Colours - Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red
Yan and Weiwei were knocked out after having 5 shots each. Surprisingly enough, Weiwei who normally drinks so well was happily sleeping after she played 3 rounds of "5-10" with me. I think the Bailey's with chocolate sauce didn't mix well with the vodka shots. After playing round 4 with Elita, I was feeling the effects of the Baileys as well. Elita was chasing me around the place, trying to get me to play round 5, but I politely declined (or rather ran around trying to hide) until I finally got cornered while trying to conduct a game of "Spin and Shot" with the set that we gave Jean & Jin for X'mas. Fortunately for me, Elita left suddenly when Alina wanted to leave, so I didn't have to finish drinking all the shots.

I spent the rest of the evening sitting out on the balcony, stoning and stroking Jin's cats. I miss having a cat, but thinking back on how much fur they shed, I guess its a good thing that I dont have cats now. Would be a disaster with all my black clothes. Yes, thats a totally bimbo reason, but does anyone know how much fur cats shed? Its terrible! Plus my uber good lint roller is missing, so I have nothing to use to get rid of lint. I think I'll just be happy with my hammies for now :P

Was interesting to meet Nisha who is reputed to have a Sayoni fan club in the past. I can see why she would attract attention. She's very warm, easy to talk to and humourous as well. At one point, everyone was gathered in the kitchen, talking to her and Jean. That was also when I got sprayed in the eye by Jolene with the silly string spray. Fortunately for me, the thing solidifies almost immediately and my reflex action was to quickly close my eyes. It hurt for quite a while, but the tearing cleared out any possible residue and other than a slight sting in my left eye, I was ok.

I didn't drink that much last night, 1 entrance shot, 1 cup of vodka ribena, 3 cups of baileys with chocolate sauce and some random vodka shots. I have to admit that because I was mixing my own drinks, most of the drinks were almost 70-80% pure spirits. So it wasn't surprising to find myself feeling quite "happy" after a while. In addition, I think the many nights of partying caught up with me and by 1 am, I was feeling quite tired. Coupled with Irene's eyes hurting cos she didn't bring her eyedrops, we decided to head home at around 1:30 am. Quite a few people had gone home by then, plus Jin had gone to church with Chris and a few others. So, we grabbed the X'mas exchange gift and left. Below is the gift I got.

Little Edward Normton pouch with uber cute stickers inside

Jean & Jin bought me a box of Royce chocolates for X'mas. OMG, so uber good! I am totally hoarding them and eating them when I feel down!

LOL..the pouch and stickers were from Vanessa, we thought it would be cute to add in little stickers too..Heh.

Oh, and it's spelt "Neshah" and not "Neshah". And yeah I used to be part of her "fan club". Heh.

Sorry, sleepy typo - I meant to say -

"Neshah" and not "Nisha".

Hey girl,

Glad you like the party!  Might be our last for a long time.  So we'll do some serious BBQ with bright lights and a few good friends in an old house.  Thank you for your rainbow-coloured shots.  It's been great knowing you and we love our flag too.  It means a lot for us to hang it up there.  HUGS!
