Anj & Kai's Christmas Party

Attended Anj and Kai's Christmas Party last night. Have to say that their invitation was really cool...

The
setting of Kai's place is really really nice. They took the effort to
cover up anything that wasn't tidy and basically lit tea-lights all
over the place. 3 separate areas on the 3rd floor to contain about 20
people. It was really very cozy and there were different things going
on in the different rooms. There were alot of drinks available and tons
of food as well! Anj was busy walking around all night and washing
glasses half the time. She gave up on the glasses and eventually kept
conning different people to wash them for her. I avoided the toilet
most of the night

Aisha brought a booby cake she and her gf had made and OMG, it was such a classic!

Spent
the beginning of the party sitting around chatting with Cheyenne, Indu,
Peggy and Shimin. Cheyenne was constantly checking her phone and by the
time it was 11 pm, she had checked it over 20 times. Everytime she got
a sms from Manqin, she would grin to herself and happily start
replying. I gave up keeping track on how many times she was checking
her phone after a while.

Ended up playing 5-10 with Jean, easily
winning quite a few rounds, until she roped in Weiwei to help her.
Eventually it became a 4 player game and I downed 2 glasses of red wine
because of that. Promptly dragged Irene home as I was feeling kinda
sleepy and had only slept 4 hours the night before. As we were leaving,
we saw Anj happily giggling away as she was high. Was definitely
amusing to watch Kai attempt to steer her in the right direction as she
tried to say "Bye" to us.

The diary that I got in the X'mas gift exchange

Oh! Almost forgot to add, everyone complimented Irene on how great
she looked with the makeover that I gave her. The time spent shopping
for new clothes, doing her makeup and hair really paid off. Too bad we
forgot to take a picture. Grrrr! Ah well, time for a picture during
Makeover Part 2 on X'mas Eve.

In return, Irene got me flowers Aren't they sweet?
