Disconnected Again!

So yes, my laptop crashed and burned on Wednesday night. This means that net access will once again be limited until it gets back from the service centre. Optimistically, they said it will take 3 working days if they can isolate it as a hard disk problem. If not, it will take 5 working days. Just thinking about having to install all the programs and games again gives me a headache. *sigh* It was my own fault for tripping over the table, but I seriously didn't expect it to fail utterly like that. Oh wells, Live and Learn...

Anyhow, had a good day on Wednesday with Lisa. We went shopping around Orchard Road and I managed to get a great bargain on a pair of new bling bling Guess jeans after which we hunted for a luggage tag for Lisa's generic black bag. Fortunately we found a bright yellow one which will thus save her luggage from ever disappearing into generic black bag heaven. I hope she's having fun in Japan and she remembers to bring back the vending machine she promised me

While we were at Paragon, we were inspired to donate money to some students from Pioneer JC who were part of this society that is helping the needy in Cambodia. As part of the donation, they took a picture of us in front of the Gingerbread House.

Because it was raining on Wed and I didn't want to carry an umbrella, I happily put on a beanie and heavy jacket. I still got a bit of rain, but managed to keep most of me dry. The current rainy weather is giving me a chance to wear my boots and hats again

I had fun last night at dinner with Indu, Jean, Chris, Ovidia, Antoinette and Irene. Soooo much Jap food! OMG, we ate til we almost burst! We subsequently adjourned to Timbre for some drinks before going to PLAY to join Gerald, Edna and Sharinne for dancing and drinks. Soooo much laughter, fun, jokes, drinks and dancing. Was laughing all the way home on the cab ride. Gerald could barely walk and according to Edna couldn't find the keyhole. I had quite a bit to drink and was definately on a high. Had alot of fun playing "Five, Ten" with everyone and making everyone drink. ON FORM! Hahahaha, good thing I am keeping to only drinking once a week, or else I think I would be crawling home every night.

Going to spend today nuaing and recharging to party somemore this weekend. Have a potluck with the Prophecy gang on Sunday night. That's gonna be so fun
