Therapy

Original Xanga entry ↗

Had a very good group session this afternoon. Hearing what other people had to say and I found myself sharing things that I wasn't even aware of. Sometimes its amazing to find out how much you've kept within yourself that is actually eating away at you. I'm really glad I signed up for the support group because its turning out to be very helpful during this time of need.

Sayoni dinner gathering last night managed to help me keep my mind off things for a few hours. Everyone was great in trying to keep me entertained. There was alot of laughter and teasing and reminded me of what it was like to just have fun again. Meeting all the new people and making friends, it was definitely therapeutic.

I can feel myself getting better. The mornings are still bad and I just can't wait to get out of the house once I get up. It's crazy, but even at 5 am, I find myself getting changed and going out. I'm exhausted physically, but there is no sleep to be had once my eyes open.

My taste buds have also changed entirely. I don't feel like anything spicy. Nothing fried. And I don't even want soft drinks anymore. I've been drinking so much plain water, its just weird.

I feel like a different person and I sure hope that's a good thing.
