Once again technology and the Internet gives me a shock.

Someone contacted me today via Friendster. Someone whom I have not seen or heard from in a dozen years. Someone whom I was convinced had clean forgotten about me. Someone who broke my heart for the very first time when I was a young innocent 12 year old convent girl. Someone who set the bar for all future relationships. Someone whom helped me dig a hole in my life and bury myself in.

Such a shock... such a tremendous shock... After all these years, to read words that he had written to me, see his picture posted on Friendster and to realise that he wanted to apologise for what transpired between us, those 12 years ago.

I am truly amazed.
