Original Xanga entry ↗Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons,
What puzzles me most,
Is how we know,
If we can trust those...
Words on paper,
Side by side,
Voices in my head murmer,
Is this right?
Okay, that was one of those rare times when I venture to write a bit about my feelings... What brought this about? Spoke to my dad last night. And he has waved a grey flag, meaning I have a chance to convince him that I am old enough to make my own decision and that if I want, I can go to Australia. However, to convince him, I need to send him a list of Pros & Cons. Before this, I was drafting out my list but it got to the point where I could not concentrate, so I decided to jump online and read some blogs for inspiration. *grin* Of course after reading the numerous blogs I'm addicted to, I decided I should blog as well
Anyhow, in 2 hours, I'm going to fax a copy of my Pros & Cons to my dad and he'll call me at night and tell me what he thinks. Pray for me okay?

5. There are some things that we never want to let go of... people we never want to leave behind; but keeping in mind that letting go is not the end of the world, but rather it is the beginning of a new life.
This strikes true to me right now and kinda ties in with Number 4. To me, moving away from Singapore is going to be new life. And I can't wait to get started, but yet, there are people I love that I can't seem to leave behind... and that also influences my wanting to be in Australia instead of America.

Tell your dad that Australia will change your life for the better. You need to see the world and experience life. Did you know that Australia is the birth place of some of the most important, talented and special people in the entire world? hehehe

Good luck in Australia. And if you ever think about discarding the idea of Australia, best start with discarding "al".
