DEPRESSED

Some days, things just don't seem to be the "happy" type of day. I've been coughing like crazy and my throat itches like anything. Skipped work yesterday and I'm off today, beginning to get into this habit of NOT wanting to go to work... Bad issn't it?

Anyhow, going into something that happened yesterday. While I was unpacking stuff from our store room and sorting it out, I came across this box of stuff which was mine. Guess what, I came across a diary I used to keep 8 years ago... and wow... was I a kid then... My crushes... and things I used to do... and the details I put in my diary, every single itsy detail, to the clothes I was wearing... and my first kiss... My goodness... was embaressing when I read through it...

How I have changed from those days... even the way I write has changed. I used to be so eloquent, using such idealistic idioms and phrases. So widely read... but these days, the only things I read are Archie Comics and the ocasionally news paper... Of course there still is my favourite Baby Blues comics and some odd books I read... such as Harry Potter :-)

I think I have to get back into the habit of reading classics again. I write so much better after I have some good literature in me... Used to have the time to curl up with a good book and just concentrate for hours... now... I be lucky if I get to read 3 pages straight, especially with my grandma asking me to get something for her every 2 minutes...

P.S: Just on a side note, I have a very close friend who has joined us, he is slowly blossoming into blogging... Please check his site out... TheEmptyone ... Thanks Everyone :-P

Bad perhaps, but understandable.  I always enjoy going back to yesteryear, re-reading items I'd written.

*hugs* to you - don't feel so blue... even though your page is :-D

I wish I had time to read like I used to. When I was in school, I was always reading something. Now I'm lucky if I read one or two books a year. Times change.
