Denny's Vacation Part 2 - Dinner@Hanabi

We had dinner with Kewei and Najip at Hanabi in Vivocity on his third night in Singapore. It was only my second time at Hanabi, the first being a few months back at the Bukit Timah brunch with Indu and gang.

I'll have to say the food at Hanabi is good, although the Vivocity branch is slightly pricey. We had a great time and its wonderful to see how Kewei and Najip's relationship has developed over the years. Kewei has definitely matured in terms of her views on life and her overall personality. Najip has definitely brought out the best in her. I am once again reminded about how important it is to have a better half. Someone who brings out the best in you. Someone who makes all the difference in you and your life. I believe Najip and Kewei do that for each other and it warms my heart to see the love between them.

We had a blast that night, chatting over dinner, joking about Kewei's lack of understanding on how huge USA is, enjoying the banter between old friends and most importantly, immersing in the simple joy of being together with people we all love. Good food, yummy dessert and great company. What else could one ask for?
