All Good Things Must Come To An End

Original Xanga entry ↗

It's Saturday morning and I'm sitting at the Hong Kong International Airport, using my laptop and the free Wifi that is available here while waiting for the airline counter to open so I can check in my baggage and find a corner of the airport to fall asleep in before boarding my flight 2 hours from now.

It's been a wonderful 2 weeks with my BFF. We actually had a chance to spend loads of quality time together, without worrying about other people, jobs or other random stress factors. We really concentrated on just having fun, sleeping in, lazying around, hanging out and storing up on all the comforting hugs, words and late night chats.

People often ask me what makes D my best friend. I think the answer is really simple. While we may live miles apart, we are in constant contact with each other. We chat online almost every day.

D understands me, accepts my neurotic behaviour, predicts my response to various situations, gives me advice when I need it, supports me when I don't, never judges me and most importantly, loves me for who I am.

I am fortunate indeed, to have a best friend in D :)
