Thank Goodness Its Good Friday
Was quite an awesome party, other than the fact that my bunny almost fainted and so we ended up going home at 12:30 am instead of 2:30 am like I expected. Didn't get to drink or dance much, but its ok, the free jug of vodka plus Qtopia tickets we won more than made up for it. Going there early definitely was a good choice, we picked up 5 of the 10 easter eggs that were available. MQ and Cheyenne also won a pair of tix for Qtopia, so we're definitely seeing them there as well.

Movie Marathon
Everyone was late due to the late night we had, but it was still fun as people came in at different times to join us for the various movies. Potluck finally kinda worked, we had tarts, snacks, drinks, chicken wings and Japanese pizza(again).
Desert Hearts - slightly slow movie and the highly anticipated sex scene that was apparently shown to the L word cast for reference purposes was OVER-RATED!- Gia - Angelina Jolie made me wanna cry. Extremely powerful movie that left me feeling sad that something so beautiful could be so self destructive. Doesn't hurt that Elizabeth Mitchell was in the movie, adding to the drool-worthiness of this show.
- Gray Matters - Not a huge fan of Heather Graham although she's kinda cute in a ditzy kinda way in this movie. Bridget Moynahan on the other hand, is total hotness! Yummylicious to the max!
- Bishounen (美少年之恋)
- 3 words: Daniel Wu topless - But I'm a Cheerleader - So damn funny I couldn't stop laughing. An incredibly silly movie, but worth watching, especially as it cheered everyone up after the previous depressing one.
I think its good that we have a mix of movies at each marathon. Still didn't manage to show Bound, but its ok, we need to save some good movies for the next time. Was interesting to meet BambooShoot for the first time. She was shy at first, but started talking a bit later on. Vonny & Peifen dropped by for about 2 movies, so did Jolene. Overall, it was a good day, always nice to relax and have fun with friends on a holiday.
Rainy Nua Saturday
We were rained in on Saturday, so we spent almost the entire day in bed, waking up at 5 pm to have pork chops and again at 10 pm to have fried rice. I can't decide if the pork chops we had was for breakfast, lunch, tea or dinner.

We got up early, had leftover fried rice for breakfast and proceeded to Irene's place where we took a bus to the airport to pick up Denny. He took a long time to come out as he spent some time at the duty free picking up the booze I wanted. We had lunch at the airport staff canteen and then took the bus back to Irene's place so we could deposit Kelvin for his nap and all the stuff that Denny was bringing over for her. Cabbed back to my place so we could drop off the luggage and went to have dinner at Sakae@Compass Point. Picked up a SIM card for D and went back to Irene's for a kickass game of Monopoly where I was declared victor at 2 am after a 4 hour game! D and Irene are still the best people to play Monopoly with
Lazy Monday
We stayed home until about noon, when I dragged Denny to go get new glasses. I picked out a pair of bronze/brown glasses that bring out the highlights in his hair. Very very nice glasses
We went back home for a nap before going to Chinatown Complex for dinner with the Sayoni peeps and had a KTV session with Rafel, Vonny, Peifen and Rej after.
Enjoying my time with D, especially since this time, I'm not working and there issn't much need to rush around Singapore seeing the touristy stuff, although we'll definitely be going to the Singapore Zoo sometime this week. We'll be in KL for the weekend and flying to Macau on Tuesday, ferrying to Hongkong on Thursday, meeting up with Jac and coming back to SG on Saturday, just in time for Qtopia... Busy busy busy weeks ahead!
