Transitions
Original Xanga entry ↗7 years ago, when I took the Sparks Personality Test, I was a MENTOR - SEAT (Submissive Extroverted Abstract Thinker)
You are a MENTOR (SEAT). Some would call you the most powerful and influential of all people. Those people are wrong. The
reality is that you DON'T really WANT to impose personal views or
beliefs on others. Yet you are extroverted and intelligent, and you
like to get involved. So you help others with the pursuit of knowledge.
You're the reason that people say teachers are also students. You are as much a learner as a master, and this satisfies you. You
won't die a lonely death, but towards the end you'll grow
introspective, wondering if your life meant anything. This will last
for decades, and you'll die after your spouse.
Fast forward to 7 years later, I am now a PERFORMER - DEAF (Dominant Extroverted Abstract Feeler)
You are a PERFORMER (DEAF)— personable, self-assured,
and excellent under pressure. You are extroverted and strong-willed,
which, in combination means you are good with people and aren't willing to let
opportunity pass you by. Congratulations. I'm sure all the peons you've stepped
on never saw it coming and didn't feel a thing.
You have formidable creative talents, and you
often following what your heart tells you instead of your logical mind.
Your exuberance can earn you many friends and admirers, despite your ambition,
or it can intimidate the less confident into keeping their distance. It's
also possible that you're Madonna.
How we change as we progress through life. The many variations of ourselves that presents the person whom we are to the people whom we interact with.
I don't really remember what I was like when I took the test previously, but I guess I was definitely in a point of my life where I didn't feel very much in control. I was prone to peer pressure and cared very much about what other people think. As the years have gone by, I suppose I've come to stop logically processing things so much and go with my feelings instead. People will always think what they like to think. I now prefer to do whatever I feel like instead of worrying about the general public. My friends will always understand and those who do not are not really my friends.
I recall very strongly how I used to logic everything out and ended up living with regrets. Which is why I suppose now I much prefer to just go with how I feel. At least if things go wrong, I can have the satisfaction of having fulfilled my own desires.
I wonder how long this transition will last and what the next transformation will be like...

A good balance of both is adviseable.
