THE ONE ABOUT THE CRAZY MONTH

I don't even know where to start describing this past month. Its
been a constant nightmare with last minute events popping up
everywhere, and the constant drone of family clashing with work,
work clashing with life, life clashing with everything else.

My life just hasn't been my own. With no computer at home, Canon's
event eating away my weekends, Grandma arriving, Mom finally moving to
LA... Everything seems to be happening at once. Been wanting to do updates, but just haven't had time at all.

So this update, much like the one before, will be what takes up my time at work.

This is the vehicle that we did up for Canon. It is a marketing
tool that my company Procon uses for our clients. A fully customisable
vehicle that can travel around Singapore to various venues and expand
into a full showcase for various items.

As you can see, the vehicle even has steps and all, leading into the chassis.

Issn't the vehicle beautiful! Such a great marketing tool!

So we drove it to Suntec City Mall and parked it there, at a "strategic" location, all set up and ready to roll

At 11 am, we rolled up the shutters and our business on wheels was launched!

The interior hosts a plasma TV, inbuilt sound system, brochure stands, laptop stands, display panels and even airconditioning!

When its fully opened up, it makes for an impressive travelling showroom.

Along with it, we bring our mechanical surfboard that simulates a real
surfboard. There is a competition for this, with the person who stays
on board the longest winning a Canon printer.

As the day goes by, more and more people jam pack our truck as they are
attracted by the special deals we have on Canon's DC10/DC20 camcorder.
The world's smallest and slimmest direct to DVD camcorder!

We are lucky at this other location, because the traffic is so natural that we don't need to deploy more manpower or gimmicks.

Whereas at this location, I had to become Candy Floss lady and give out free Candy Floss to get people to come!

We did bring in dancers to showcase the camcorder.

And having beautiful people with great bods helped bring in the crowd.

So yes, that was a relatively successful
marketing campaign for Canon done by us. Alot of logistics work went
into this event and the event went on for 2 weekends. Thankfully it
went relatively well... actually, it didn't. Alot of major hiccups and
screwups happened. But yeah, thats events and that's life. More
weekends to burn, less time for myself, but since seeing off grandma at
the airport this morning, I've felt as if there is less to worry about.

Trying to get myself into focus again, find myself and figure out how
to move on from here. Hopefully things will look up, I'll be less broke
and I can stop worrying about everyone and everything around me. For
the past month, with so many things happening, I feel as if I've not
been in control, not been in touch with myself. Hope to just relax and
get things back in gear again. Its Xmas soon and it will be New Year
not long after. Alot of things to look forward to next year... Want it
to be different. Brand new year, brand new beginning. Hopefully. Hope
HOpe HOPe HOPE!
