Original Xanga entry ↗THE ONE ABOUT HONGKONG
So for the pple who are in the loop, I went to HongKong over the Vesak Day weekend. It wasn't really my idea. Ray's mom paid for the tix. So I just went along with it. All in all, it was a pretty good trip although I spent a ton of money. The shopping was WOW! I bought something like 20 tops and 5 pants. Bought 3 pairs of shoes and some bags too. All in all, the shopping was great.
I want to write more, but don't know where to start, so I'm just gonna link my pics here.
I was gonna link them all onto this blog, but then I realised that I have waaaaay too many of them pics on my blog. I need to write more instead of using all this photos to express my time.
I guess the HongKong trip taught me a few things. One of the most important things was that its hard to travel with someone else's family. I mean they never do what you want to do, you can't get them to agree to do what u want, cos well, they aren't your family... It wasn't all bad of course... and I did get to go there for free, although with all the money I spent it was like I paid my own way and more...
In the 8 days we were there, we went to Victoria Peak (visited the Wax Musuem there), Ocean Park (where we didn't go on ANY of the rides other then the lame Ferris Wheel), Ray and me went to Macau one night where we visited the Lisboa Casino (which was oldschool Shanghai style with all the smoke and crap) and the Sands Casino (which was Vegas style even down to the membership card), and on the 2nd last day, we went to ShenZhen where we visited Windows of the World (Miniature World with a huge Eiffel Tower, and other interesting landmarks) and did some great shopping of fake goods (I bought 2 wonderful dior bags for like a fraction of the price)
Anyhow, just wanted to share my fav pic from the entire journey:

This was taken on the plane, on my way to Hongkong and the clouds just make me wanna dive off the plane and right into their soft, cottony surface.
