Original Xanga entry ↗THE ONE WITH THE BIRTHDAY UPDATE
Kinda waiting on the patch for Knight Online to be downloaded and in the meantime, thought it would be nice if I did an update on how my birthday went. Considering the amount of unhappiness that was piling up before my birthday, I was pleasantly surprised that it went pretty well. Although the weekend zoomed past, at least it was not filled with unhappiness. In fact, the "unbirthday" party that I held went pretty well.
Almost everyone who said they were gonna come did come. I took pictures with everyone who came and put it on a cardboard. I then got them to sign on it so it will be a testimony for my birthday. Makes me happy to know that I have that as something to remember, for always.
Ray baked me a Bailey's chocolate cheesecake. He kinda burnt it though, so was shy to bring it over. Didn't matter, cos he brought it over the day after the party and it was great! I loved it, the base was wonderfully thick (which is how I like my cheesecakes anyhow)
Mom's birthday parcel arrived on the night of my birthday and BOY were there alot of stuff in it. Most importantly, I own a digicam once again and this time, its a heavyweight! I did so much research on it that I am fully satisfied that I bought a great cam this time and didn't make a mistake with it. It's working great so far and the pictures below is testimony to how great it is. The CANON POWERSHOT S410 is a midrange camera that is wonderfully powerful, yet maintains compact and has all the features I require. There is no lag time between shots and the only complaints I have so far is that it heats up really quickly AND its quite heavy. Other then that, its waaaaay better then my previous camera and its really out of this world with the shots. They are well taken and make me look good in plenty of them! Of course I do kinda wish that Canon would have released the SD300 before I put in my order for S410, but it's cool, cos the lens for SD300 is suckier anyways
The only thing cooler abt the SD300 is that its smaller and slimmer, but its generally the same deal at a higher price... and well, I don't need something like that anyways
