Unfortunately, after almost 1 month of working out and watching what I eat, I have yet to lose any weight. In fact, I've actually put on weight. People tell me it's the muscles that's adding to the weight. I'm inclined to think that I'm just born to be flabby... *sigh*
Anyways, since Pingo has kindly pointed out that my journal is becoming a health journal, I've decided to post on something other then my current fitness craze.
I am going to talk about friends. Or rather, about how lousy a friend I am. For the longest time, I've found myself to be very complacent about my friends. I didn't use to be like that. I used to be so concerned and aware of what was going on with my friends. I had everyone's birthdays jotted down and I was the type who would send out birthday cards and Christmas cards on time. However, as time goesby, I find myself slacking and slacking on this further and further. I'm so unsure of why it is so, but I do know that it's very unfair for me to do this. So many of my friends have been there for me when I needed their support. Yet I sincerely doubt that I can say I have done the same.
I am the kind of person who tends to throw herself into things. When I start something, whether it be in life, love or work, I tend to put everything bit of myself and my heart into it. This is why it drives me crazy to think that I can't do the same for my friends. I just seriously onder what has gone wrong and where?!
I feel like I need to make a sincere effort to keep in contact with my friends, but yet days go by and I find I have yet to do so. My excuses are weak. And I find myself more and more unhappy.
And it comes to the point where I wonder, how many can I truly call my friends? Or have we become simply aquintances instead? *sigh*

-cheer- Hehe it's true though... muscle does weigh more than fat. Keep it up!
As for your final question... I doubt this is the answer you are looking for, or even that it answers your question, but nevertheless... There is no line you can draw between acquintances and friends. It's all grey in between. And don't worry, maintaining contact is very exhausting. Just gather up yourself and post an e-mail or two
You'll be surprised.
