Bought my airticket today... Spent all $503 on it. Still wondering if I did the right thing... but well, only time will tell... Most of my friends are pretty excited about seeing me... I haven't been back to Singapore in 2 years. Scary thought came up last night. What if I went home and realised it was never going to be home again?

Spoke to my brother on ICQ and he wanted me to buy him cigs... I'm not going to encourage him to smoke! No way! On top of that, you're not allowed to bring in cigs anyways...

I've done most of my packing... Bringing home 3 suitcases filled of stuff... Very little of it mine though. Most of it is presents to give to people or things that people have asked me to get. For myself? Just some clothes. I have alot of clothes left at home in Singapore, so I'm just packing a few essentials that I might need. The rest can remain here.

Feeling restless, as if nothing I can do can make this feeling go away... Huge argument with Ray today... Well, possibly just me and my hormones acting up, but everything he said set me on edge... I don't want to fight with him :( But sometimes it's so hard when he is so unreasonable...

I miss the gentle caress of love and the sweet whispers of harmony... I miss my life...

Glad to hear you are excited about going home, i'm sure you will have a great time, your friends there love you alot.  It might NOT feel like home.. but at some points you still have to create a home.. and your at a point where its almost time for you to find a new home.. a home of your own.. but till then.. being in a place where you are surounded by those you love will help you :)

Good luck, and i will talk to you soon :)

Don't worry about whether you have done the right thing, its done already. Now just focus on whats coming and enjoy while you can. You refer to singapore as home, thats what it is. It won't be home again in the same way of course, but possibly in a better way, where you are more aware of what you took for granted, and where you'll be able to embrace and bask in what you've missed.

Have a great time and relax. See all your friends and return refreshed. Because going home always feels great :)

Much love,
Ting.
