Original Xanga entry ↗I have a classic case of chapped lips... It's bad to the point where the edges of my mouth are chapped and cracked. Obviously this means that it hurts to open and close my mouth... so I'm doing this "don't talk to me or make me open my mouth" crap, which essentially is really stupid. It hurts even to open my mouth to drink water... How duh is that? And this is even after I've used all my lip balm etc etc. Ah wells...
Anyways, I have a bad case of dried out skin. It has something to do with the searing drying heat of summer. I moisturise and moisturise, but it's the same... Skin peeling all over the place... I feel like a snake who is shedding its old skin and having new one underneath. The only problem is my new skin is weeping... and when you have baby soft new skin which is weeping... it gets painful... VERY painful... Can anyone say *OUCH*!?!?!
Other then the assorted adventures of my poor health, things have been moving slowly in my life. I haven't lost any visible weight, even though I've been working out and watching my diet. All those fried foods etc are out... but I still don't seem to be losing weight
I seriously hate this!

Seeing as how I'm the middle of slamming off some weight as well, I can tell you this. If you do some sort of thing like running or so, when you haven't done that so much in the past, you won't lose weight, since you burn fat, and gain muscles, with the latter being heavier than the first, that's why you could even gain weight. That and it's still better to lose only 1 kg per week than 6137562817264. And apart from that, you're not fat, your body is still deciding on what it CAN lose

Come back home to Singapore where it's raining EVERYDAY!
Say byebye to cracked skin and lips, say hello to umbrellas!
