WHAT TO DO IF YOU WIN THE LOTTERY

First thing you should do is send 10% to me... cos you know, I've always been praying that someone I know wins it. So my prayers helped you win it. Now gimme gimme!

Seriously though, I guess everyone entertains dreams of winning the lottery someday. As someone so aptly put it, "We work hard in life so that we can live life. Now if we didn't have to work hard, we would be able to enjoy life to the fullest, instead of working hard all our life and never truly enjoying it."

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that everyone should try to slack off and pin their hopes on winning the lottery. I'm just saying that it's kinda sad how we are all working our lives away in hope that at some point, we have enough money such that we can actually enjoy life without having to work. But what if that time never comes? What if we never reach that point in life? Now most would say that the best course of action would be to enjoy what you work at and what you do. That way, it will never seem like a job and you WILL be enjoying life, no matter what. But seriously, how many people are actually lucky enough to enjoy EVERY aspect of their job? I am pretty sure those are the very very few fortunate ones. Everyone else either hates their job, or have some aspects of the job which they dislike. It's basically human nature. We have something others would like, but we still want more. Even the dog at the top of the ladder wants something the dog at the bottom doesn't have.

There is a AUD$30 million lotto draw this coming Saturday. I've bought my share of ONE lucky ticket for it. I don't even hope to win the top prize. Getting 2nd or 3rd division from it would make me very happy. It would help pay off some debts, bills and maybe a little bit left over for me to enjoy a good start into the new year. However, as a kind soul pointed out , winning a lottery issn't everything. There is alot in life that you can achieve without pinning your hopes on winning "the big one". And I do think that it's about time that dreamers like me start working towards things that I can do in the future without including the "must have big win in life".

So... I've sent out various resumes to companies, in hope of scoring a new job. A job that will hopefully pay me more and enable me to get out of my debt situation. To all my loved ones who have been so kindly assisting me in my financial situation, I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU AND PROMISE YOU, YOUR MONEY IS ON THE WAY!

Many say that a new year heralds a new beginning. I say WHY WAIT? A new beginning can be now, can be today, can be whenever I say it can be. I want things to happen and I want things to change and I am the only one who can make it happen.
