Well, things have pretty much settled down now and I guess it's time for me to start writing somemore. I managed to get part of the photos we took developed so here is what I look like in my uniform at work.

I guess the uniform looks a bit ridiculous, but it's a very traditional Indonesian style uniform. If you couldn't already tell from the background, I work in an Asian restaurant. We serve Indonesian, Thai and Burmese food. We also have disgustingly sinful desserts.

Anyhow, life has settled down somewhat. Ray goes into the army on Wednesday. 2 more days of communicating online before a whole 3 weeks of silence... I really wonder if I can survive it. On the other hand, I have set myself up to be working alot during the next few weeks. Between working at Toba and doing stuff online, I thnk I have managed to pretty much fill up my time.

Sometimes I wonder if it's vanity that makes people blog. I mean, who would be interested in my boring life? Do I really want to announce to the world what I am doing? Yet I still persist in updating my blog, because I want to let the world know how I feel. I want people to share my happiness and to share my sadness. I wish I was more interesting though. I admire people like Mich who are so lively and interesting in their posts that reading their blogs is a joy. I find reading my own blogs to be such a pain sometimes. I wonder where I got to become this whiney and unintelligent person whose only true passion in life is love.
