Everyday, you get closer to dying. I hate it when it pops up on me like that, but it's true. Every single day, you are dying. Right now, I am dying. And everyone around me is dying.

Why is life so frustrating?

I hate my birthday. And I will continue to hate it every year.

True, but on the other hand:
Right now you are living, right now you are alive, so what's the big deal?

Cannot have one w/o the other, the alternative being having nothing at all.

I heard once, that birth and death are both parts of life, not really a beginning or an end. I like to think of things that way- that I, the other life on earth too, am an unending stream of existence, and life is just part of that. If you make life smaller than something else, it's doesn't seem so big on its own.

I dun celebrate birthdays either ... sometimes I can't imagine why some people attach so much importance to it ... it's just another day in the calender for crying out loud ... someone once asked me whether I regretted being born ... I didn't know how to answer the question ... on one hand it's temptingly easy to want to  throw in the towel just because life doesn't go the way you want it to ... on the other hand, life has given me the opportunity to dream big dreams ... if not for dreams, what meaning does life hold ?
